As we close out another school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate every ESP and certified staff member who made it through with dedication, resilience, and heart. This year brought challenges, changes, frustrations, victories, and countless moments where our educators and support professionals showed up for students and one another. No matter your role, your impact matters, and our schools are stronger because of you.

This year, we saw important successes through our collective efforts. Certified staff received pay raises, 301 evaluation payments increased, and we successfully maintained negotiations throughout the duration of the year. These wins did not happen by accident—they happened because educators and ESPs stood together, spoke up, and remained engaged in the process.

While we were disappointed that the Governing Board chose not to maintain the 4-day school week, this experience also showed the power of unity. Together, we organized, advocated, attended meetings, shared our stories, and made it clear that we will not sit quietly when policies and processes that impact our students and staff are pushed forward without collaboration, discussion, or supporting data. Our voices mattered, and they were heard.

As we look toward next year, our focus will be membership growth and building toward majority status. With numbers comes voice, strength, and the power to create meaningful change. Every new member strengthens our ability to advocate for the schools, students, and staff our community deserves.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we continue the work. And together, we remind ourselves of an important truth: we are the ones who will save us.

Thank you for everything you have given this year. We hope you take time this summer to rest, recharge, and celebrate the incredible work you do every day. 


Spring Membership- Earn $25 Amazon Gift Cards

New members can join now and pay nothing until next school year!  And, you can earn $25 amazon card for EVERY MEMBER you sign up between in May and June!   A membership form is attached for you to print.  Here are the steps to get your amazon cards!

1.  Print out some forms and talk to colleagues.  
2.  Sign up a new member!
2.  Scan the membership form and send it to [email protected] 
3.  You should get an email the following week with an amazon gift card code to redeem at your district email.  


New Teacher Luncheon Help Requested- Earn a $100 Amazon card for helping!

We will need all the help that we can get with our luncheon this year!  The new Teacher Luncheon will be held on July 23rd. We will need help from about 11:00-1:00.  If you are able to come and help we can use all hands on deck!  Please complete the form below to let us know if you can help out!  Cards will be handed out at the event to those who signed up to help!  We hope we can count you in!
